WORKSHOPS
Arm Balance Workshop
Brush Up Your Vinyasa
Arm Balance Workshop
In this workshop we'll be breaking down arm balances such as crow, side crow, one legged crow, flying pigeon and flying splits. We will be breaking them down in small building blocks so you can work at your own pace and level, helping you create the necessary strength, flexibility and stability to tackle these postures.
Brush Up Your Vinyasa
In this workshop we will be looking at Sun Salutations/Surya Namaskara (half salutations, Sun Salutation A and Sun Salutation B), breaking down each of the postures that compose these sequences. If you are new to vinyasa yoga, this is a great place to start to get great understanding and a strong basis for your practice. If you have been practicing for a while, it is a great opportunity to dive deep and refine your physical practice.
I also had the pleasure to be part of one of my teachers (Dulce Aguilar - The Yoga People) passion project, Mandala Vinyasa, filming the practices for you to do at the comfort of your own home.
These mandala practices are based on each of the natural Elements: Fire, Water, Earth and Air. They start and finish with Yin Yoga postures and the core of the practice is a vinyasa flow that moves you 360 degrees around the mat.
There are three levels of the sequence so you can start at whatever level you feel confident with and build up into more challenging variations.
Fire Mandala
The Fire Mandala practice is based on the natural element of Fire.
This Element correlates to our will power, the fire in our belly, and it translates in the body in twists, side extensions and oblique activation and progresses from a linear pattern into backbends.
Expect to be energised!
Water Mandala
The Water Mandala practice is based on the natural element of Water.
This practice will help you connect to your inner flow and stimulate the liver meridian through adductor activation.
